Rent the Runway will to bring their virtual closets offline and into the Living Rooms of W Union Square, W Times Square, W New York and W Downtown. The Closet will open in each location on September 5th, the day before Fashion’s Night Out for the ultimate in wardrobe options . Throughout Fashion Week come experience The Closet, rent designer dress and accessory merchandise directly from The Closet or by placing an order with the help of a Rent the Runway stylist. Guests will receive insider access to the collections and an special offer prior to arrival with one complimentary dress and accessory rental for those staying in a suite, or 50% off plus free same day or next day shipping to all W Hotel guests. Rent the Runway will extend 20% off for all other Fashion Week shoppers. 

Each closet is curated by Rent the Runway Fashion Director, Lucy Sykes, who has chosen a selection of dresses and accessories that reflect the uptown and downtown personalities of each W Hotel location. At W Union Square and W Downtown, the selection will be a bit edgier with designers including Opening Ceremony, Yigal Azrouel, and Erin Fetherson. For the uptown locations, W Times Square and W New York, Sykes has chosen designers with a more traditional sophisticated look including Halston Heritage, Versace, Badgley Mischka and Vera Wang. No matter what your style, we will make sure everyone is looking fabulous for Fashion Week.
